Winter Graduate Business Studies (ONLINE for 2021)

The Winter Graduate Business Studies (WGBS) program is an excellent platform for graduate students to experience innovative graduate-level business studies focussing on the topics of global strategy and social entrepreneurship all taught by our world-renowned MBA faculty. Join graduate level students in classes to prepare you for business success while having an opportunity to build relationships and contacts with other future leaders from around the world. *This program will be ONLINE for 2021. Classes will be a combination of live Zoom classes and pre-recorded lectures and videos. Students will have online discussion groups with their peers from around the world.

This three week program focuses on two courses: Global Strategy and Social Entrepreneurship. We have adapted the format of our regular MBA courses to present students with a rigorous, innovative period of study. The program is equivalent to two graduate level courses. (Students must seek credit approval from their home university.)

Global Strategy and Social Entrepreneurship January 18-February 5, 2021

Program fees: CAD$3,150.00 Registration deadline: January 8, 2021

Students can register for one module for CAD$1,575

The program fee includes: tuition, course materials and tax

Global Strategy –  January 18-27  Develop an understanding of doing business in a global environment.  Topics include evaluating the attractiveness of different markets; considering the best ways to enter these markets; differences in culture and the impact on consumer behavior and human resources management; and adaptations that are required in planning for different markets.

Social Entrepreneurship -  January 28-February 5  Through a combination of lectures, group discussions and field trips to local social enterprises  wrap up with a team-based project that requires students to apply what they've learned through the analysis of a social enterprise case.
