In recent years the field of Quantum Computing made considerable progress in software and hardware.
Although a practical fault tolerant full scale Quantum Computer is not expected within five to ten years, companies need to prepare for the use and the implications. The possibility to decrypt by a Quantum Computer foreshadows the need having a good understanding of Quantum Security.
The summerschool Applied Quantum Computing offers several perspectives on Quantum Computing. Students will get an introduction into implementation of applications for Quantum Computing.
